About these terms

These terms apply when you buy from humidityhulk.com. By placing an order you’re agreeing to them. If you’re setting up a refill plan, our Subscription Terms apply as well.

Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

Orders

When you place an order you’re making an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you an order confirmation email. If we can’t fulfil an order — stock runs out, or a pricing error slips through — we’ll tell you and refund you in full.

We may decline an order if we can’t deliver to your area, if payment doesn’t clear, or if we reasonably suspect fraud.

Prices

All prices are in South African Rand and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is charged separately and calculated at checkout based on your address and the size of your order.

We can change prices at any time, but never after you’ve placed an order. If a price is obviously wrong — a tub listed at R5 — we’ll contact you rather than fulfil or silently cancel.

Payment

We take payment through Payfast. Your order is processed once payment clears. We don’t see or store your card details.

Delivery

We deliver anywhere in South Africa through Bob Go. Timeframes and costs are in our Shipping & Delivery policy.

Risk passes to you on delivery. If something arrives damaged, tell us within 48 hours with a photograph and we’ll sort it out.

Returns

Set out in our Returns & Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.

Using the product

Humidity Hulk absorbs moisture from the air. Follow the instructions on the packaging. Keep it out of reach of children and pets. Don’t eat it. Don’t use it for anything other than absorbing moisture.

We can’t be responsible for damage caused by using the product in a way the packaging doesn’t describe.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for anything done through your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.

We can suspend or close an account that’s being used fraudulently or abusively.

Our responsibility

We’ll do what we say we’ll do. If we get something wrong, we’ll put it right.

We’re not liable for losses we couldn’t reasonably have foreseen, or for things outside our control — load shedding, courier delays, strikes, natural disasters. Where liability can’t be excluded by law, it’s limited to what you paid for the order.

Our content

The Humidity Hulk name, logo, product photography and website content belong to us. Don’t copy or reuse them without asking.

Governing law

These terms are governed by South African law, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one on the site when you placed it.
